Start with economics, not a random daily budget
The right Google Ads budget depends on what a customer is worth, how often a lead becomes a customer, and how much acquisition cost the business can sustainably support.
1. Work backward from customer value
Estimate average order value or customer lifetime value, gross margin, close rate and a target acquisition cost. These numbers create a commercial ceiling for paid acquisition.
2. Give the campaign enough room to learn
A tiny budget can produce too little conversion data to make useful decisions. Start with a budget that can generate a meaningful number of qualified clicks and enquiries, then scale after measurement becomes reliable.
3. Protect lead quality
Track qualified leads, not just form submissions. Search terms, negative keywords, landing-page message match and CRM outcomes should all feed optimization.
4. Scale only after the system is stable
Once tracking, search intent, landing pages and follow-up are working together, budget increases become a controlled growth decision rather than a guess.
